KIS Cockpit Gust Lock
After looking at available gust lock options for an airplane with joysticks, I decided to design my own. I came up with a solid aluminum design that locks the ailerons, elevators and rudder at the same time. With this design it’s impossible to get in the airplane with the gust lock engaged making it very safe to use. I also designed it to be quickly disassembled for easy carry and storage.
